COVER

  • Choose folder color for lapbook, re-fold folder.
  • Place a reduced copy of book cover on right hand cover flap
  • Practice handwriting and write the title of the book on lined paper, place on left hand cover flap
IMG_2115.JPG Glue worksheets to card stock and attach at top to center inside section of lap book. Attach them along top edge with tape.

If we have several small books to add we make a shutterfold side extension to putthem in (shown on right side) This is glued to the inside right flap.

 Make a flag and affix to the center back section of the lap book.

(We use a drinking straw for the pole and make a pocket to slip it into so the flag can be removed. This flag was one we made up for Popperville.)

Monday: (Social Studies)

Affix any worksheets to card stock and attach card stock with take to center section of lap book inside.

Make a flag for location and affix to lap book.

 

Tuesday: (Language Arts)

Make vocabulary cards and place in a library pocket on an inside flap

Attach lists to inside flap

Affix any worksheets to card stock and attach card stock with take to center section of lap book inside.

 

Wednesday: (Math)

Attach math project, photos or worksheet to cardstock and attach as an extension to right-hand inside flap.

 

Thursday: (Art)

Make copy of artwork and place on card stock to inside center of lap book. Or add a plastic sheet protector to theinside and place drawings inside it. We just glue the 3-hole punched flap into the lapbook.

 

Friday: (Science)

Attach science project, photos or worksheet to cardstock and attach to inside panel or center.
